The short ride will not ascend to Monkton Ridge but all rides will have some nice descents which, of course can only reached by some nice ascents. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks because there are not many places to get food, especially on the two longer rides.

Day 1 (Saturday) of the weekend event is a 67 (S) loop up through Norton and Canaan on routes 114, 102 and 105 with (hopefully) more moose than cars.

Camping is available at Pat and Tom's house just outside East Burke; early birds get beds or floor space in the house.   BYOB drinks and/or potluck BBQ for anyone who is interested on Saturday afternoon/evening.  There is also the Tiki Bar in East Burke which is not to be missed.
