NEK Gravel Weekend - Two Mountain Gravel - Class 2, 3 and 4 roads over Kirby Mountain to one of the most beautiful valleys in the Northeast Kingdom and beyond. Two variations to get there - one via more Class 4 road. Then both travel along the lovely and relatively flat River Road to Gallup Mills and then up over Victory, back to 114 and East Burke.
For Friday and/or Saturday night, cyclists can stay at Tom and Pat's house in Lyndonville, just outside of East Burke. Vaccinated folks can lobby early for a spot inside the house but there is plenty of camping in the yard. After the ride, drinks at the Tiki Bar.
If parking at Mike's Tiki Bar is full, then go to the log yard, Kingdom Trails parking just before East Burke. We will meet by the Tiki Bar.

The Friends of Northern Lake Champlain together with the Franklin County mountain bike club are putting on a gravel ride in northern Franklin County September 30. The ride will start and end at the Choiniere farm trails, 3550 Gore Rd., Highgate Center. Vermont. There will be a 43 mile and a 17 mile loop. Registration includes lunch, socks, and a rest area. Due to often unpredictable weather during those months, distance and route is determined by whomever shows up. Only the start/meeting site is predetermined. There may be one or more groups and/or destinations.

This Sunday we’ll be meeting at 9:30 at Wheeler lot at Veteran's Memorial Park in South Burlington. The route and distance will be determined after much shaking of heads, staring at feet, and muttering “I dunno. Where do you want to go?”
