Touring, 'unofficial'-4

Folsom School, South Hero
Address: 75 South St, South Hero, VT 05486, USA

Please register for this ride here.

Informal touring ride. Touring rides in April and October do not have assigned leaders and do not have a planned route. Due to often unpredictable weather during those months, distance and route is determined by whomever shows up. Only the start/meeting site is predetermined. There may be one or more groups and/or destinations.

No valid "end" times are listed for touring rides because of differences in riders' speed and distance traveled.

This rolling hill ride (60 M/S) passes through Georgia and Milton before heading to St. Albans Bay for a break by the bay and over to Swanton. The shorter version (40 M) turns around after the break stop. This ride has a short stretch along the shore of the Lamoille River and a longer stretch along Lake Champlain. There is only one store on the ride and it is at the point where the two rides separate.

This scenic 30-mile (M) ride goes from Underhill to Cambridge on mostly dirt and gravel roads past a myriad of old stone walls and not so old solar panels. Our midway point is the store at the end of Upper Pleasant Valley Road in Cambridge.
