The 28-mile (E/M) ice cream social ride starts on 3 Mile Bridge Rd off Route 7 south of Middlebury just past the Barn Antiques shop. The terrain is gently rolling and after passing Shard Villa and crossing Route 7, we circle Lake Dunmore, returning to Salisbury to take advantage of the Ice Cream Social being hosted at the Congregational Church of Salisbury on Maple St in Salisbury (at approximately mile 20). This is a very laid back, no drop ride.

This route is available for GMBC members on Ride with GPS. A cue sheet and map will be posted when it becomes available.

Ride 40 (E/M) miles from Alburgh across the border through farmland to Venise-en-Quebec, a summer resort on Missisquoi Bay. We will stop for lunch in Venise. There are stores and restaurants or you can bring your own lunch. The return is through Alburgh Springs border crossing. Bring your passport or Vermont Enhanced Driver's License as the required customs documents. If you are denied access into Canada, you will need to return to the ride start on your own because the ride leader(s) will continue on with the group. Also note that the Border crossing closes on the Quebec side on return at 4:00 pm, so do not dally in Venise for too long.
