Covered Bridges of Franklin and Lamoille County

The hilly 41-mile loop (M) goes through Eden and Johnson, while the 55-mile ride (M/S) passes more covered bridges in Montgomery Center, returning through Bakersfield.
Practice Crit
Please see Practice Crit page for complete information. In 2023, 6 criteriums are scheduled, 2 each in May, July and August. These are USA Cycling (USAC) sanctioned events so USAC licenses are required. Junior racers are welcome and encouraged, but parents or guardians must approve the Juniors participation. If Junior racers are coming with a coach or friend, please bring a signed registration form with you.The official race flyer will be posted when it becomes available.

Hollows, Ponds and Falls, gravel

The 41-mile route has lots of dirt and very little traffic. It travels on Sherman Hollow, Gilman, State Prison and Big Hollow Roads. There are some falls on State Prison Road. Riders tour through the towns of Richmond, Huntington, Hinesburg, Monkton and Starksboro.
Route is available to GMBC members on Ride with GPS. A pdf cue sheet will be attached when it becomes available. Meeting/Parking area will be available before the ride.
Buck Hollow and Beyond

The 40-mile (M) route goes north to Fairfax, through Buck Hollow into Fairfield, returning via St. Albans. The longer loop (58 M/S) continues into Sheldon. There are potential food stops in St. Albans, Georgia and Fairfax.

This ride travels 30 miles (M) going from Woodstock through the Pomfret are and Upper Valley areas of Vermont with 3, 556 feet of vertical gain.
Please use the overflow lot at Billings Farm when parking.

Addison Ambler

This route travels south from Vergennes to Weybridge via Route 125 and then west to Bridport and West Addison and back to Vergennes on quiet roads. The short ride is 45 miles (M) and the long is 60 (S) with roughly 2 miles of dirt. There may be last minute changed to the route so be sure to get the updated information from the ride leaders at the ride start.
